BOTANY BAY REPORT
Well the Bay has turn it on over the weekend with great fishing and top weather, King Fish are about and we found a few this week but a little work was need to find the live baits most days.
The Drums in the middle of the Bay is fishing well with Trevally in big numbers but lots of small one so watch the size on them, Bream are along the bottom and will respond to a good burly trail of pellets, King Fish are a great chance on live bait or Squid but four of the Kingies we caught at the Drums over the weekend were taken on Pillie cubes and light tackle.
The Bonito have move on I only caught three fish in four days trolling this week.
I found quite a few solid leatherjackets on Sunday on the drop off at Watts Reef these fish are feeding on the bottom and a small hook is need to catch them.
Bream are still worth fishing for at the Sticks early, I did well in this area every trip this week with six to eight fish to start the day.
